AWENS (Association of Workplace Educators of Nova Scotia)

AWENS is an association of adult educators who instruct essential skills programs in Nova Scotia workplaces. The goal of our association is to provide our membership with a forum for the promotion and advancement of excellence in instructional practices through networking and frequent professional development opportunities. We respond to trends in workplace education and support the interests of workplace education instructors.

A WENS is an organization of workplace education instructors who deliver quality Essential Skills and workplace literacy programs to Nova Scotia workplaces. Our instructors also provide pre-apprenticeship tutoring for those entering the trades who may need to update their Essential Skills.
